Charcoal Barn
For couples who want to host an indoor ceremony, or want a backup plan in case of unfavorable weather, the Charcoal Barn is a beautiful space with room for up to 175 guests. Large sliding doors open to repointed stone walls, a crushed stone floor, and natural light that shines through the wood slats. A double-tiered chandelier provides a soft, romantic glow as you say your vows. The barn’s original timber frame is more than two centuries old and adds to the venue’s charm.
Coleman Chapel
Located ¼ miles down the road, Coleman Chapel is another option for couples to host their ceremony. The 1877 structure, with its vaulted ceiling and stunning Tiffany-stained glass windows, accommodates up to 135 guests.
Garden Folly and Coleman Gardens
Walk the Colonial-style crushed stone pathway to your outdoor ceremony at the Garden Folly. Original to the property, this charming red structure has been restored to provide a historic backdrop to your ceremony.
Leading up to the Garden Folly is our thoughtfully maintained Coleman Gardens. This tired lawn with flowering bushes and trees provides a dramatically beautiful spot for photos and your cocktail reception.
Stiegel Stable
With room for 150 seated guests or 225 for a cocktail reception, this 1760s former horse and carriage stable is a gorgeous place to celebrate your newly married status. The renovated reception space is home to original stone walls, four double-tiered chandeliers, concrete flooring with radiant heat, and convenient USB charging ports built into the floor.
The outdoor terrace and fire pit provide a quiet place to mingle with guests surrounded by views of the property.
Getting Ready Suites
Start your day in one of the getting-ready suites conveniently located on-site. Relax with your wedding party on cozy lounge seating in the Bridal Pavilion located in Stiegel Stable. The suite includes several makeup stations, a place to store your pre-wedding snacks, and a calming waterfront view.
The Gents Quarters is also a comfortable place to relax before your ceremony, with a dry bar and inviting fireplace. This suite is located in the historic stone building within the Coleman Gardens.
